Morris County Library Centennial Concert Series
The “MCL Centennial Concert Series” continues with a special visit from the Glenn Crytzer Quintet on Saturday, April 23 at 3 PM. Glenn Crytzer specializes in music from the Jazz Age and Swing Era. His orchestra was named 'best group' in the 2017 NYC Jazz Awards, and his recordings have appeared in dozens of TV shows and Films. Along with his quintet - featuring trumpet, trombone, clarinet, banjo, and piano - he will present a concert of songs composed in 1922 in honor of the library's centennial.
The performance will be held in the Public Meeting Room and will be free of charge. Doors will open thirty minutes before curtain time. Seating is LIMITED TO 40 AUDIENCE MEMBERS and is on a FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED basis. The performance will be live-streamed through the library website (mclib.info) via Zoom.

Morristown National Historical Park hosts its largest special event of the year
Free Admission
Jockey Hollow will come to life on Saturday, April 23, and Sunday, April 24, 2022, when re-enactors from across the northeast arrive for Morristown National Historical Park’s Spring Encampment.
The special event focuses on the life and times of soldiers and civilians during the Revolutionary War. It’s an event full of activities for the whole family.
Highlights for the weekend include demonstrations in: camp cooking, sewing, and other chores; military maneuvers, musket firing, and a special “children’s muster,” where children can learn to drill and march like Revolutionary soldiers.
The event opens at 11 am. On Saturday, camp concludes at 4 pm and on Sunday camp concludes at 3:30 pm.

*10:30 am: Inspection of the Troops
*1 pm: Firing Demonstration and Drill
*1:30 pm: Children’s Drill
*3 pm: Firing Demonstration and Drill
*3:30 pm: Children’s Drill
*4 pm: Regimental Assembly Retreat for the Evening
Sunday, April 24
*10 am: Hike to the Huts with the Soldiers
*12:30 pm: Inspection of the Troops
*1 pm: Firing Demonstration and Drill
*1:30 pm: Children’s Drill
*3 pm: Firing Demonstration and Drill
