Three Convenient Ways for Morris County Residents to Cast Their Votes in the Upcoming Election on November 7.

Morristown residents can begin early voting for the General Election starting tomorrow, October 28th. This year's election offers three voting options: Election Day voting, in-person early voting, and vote-by-mail to accommodate the schedules and needs of all registered voters.

In-Person Early Voting:

Starting tomorrow, October 28th, through November 5th, early voting will be available at the Morristown Municipal Building located at 200 South Street. The early voting period allows registered voters to cast their ballots using voting machines during a nine-day window leading up to Election Day. The polls will be open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. No appointment is needed, and "accommodations will be made for voters with disabilities." Election Day Voting:

For those who prefer to stick with tradition, in-person voting on Election Day, November 7, will take place from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Polling places will be listed on the Polling Locations page at VOTE.NJ.GOV. "Accommodations will be made for voters with disabilities," as in previous years.

Vote-By-Mail:

Registered voters who prefer the comfort of voting from home can apply for a vote-by-mail ballot. Ballots must be postmarked on or before 8:00 p.m. on November 7 and received by the county’s Board of Elections by November 13. Alternatively, voters can drop their ballots in one of the county's secure ballot drop boxes by 8:00 p.m. on November 7. Note that "vote-by-mail ballots CANNOT be returned to your early voting location or polling place."

How to Find Your Voting Location:

Regardless of your residential location in Morris County, you can find out where to cast your vote at VOTE.NJ.GOV. Additionally, drop box locations and Board of Elections Office contact information are also available on the same website for those choosing to vote by mail.

The upcoming General Election offers multiple avenues for Morris County residents to have their voices heard. Whether you're voting early, on Election Day, or by mail, make sure to exercise your right to vote and ensure your ballot is submitted by the respective deadlines.
