The East Hanover Health Department and the Roseland Board of Health will conduct a Male Cancer Screening Program on Tuesday April 8th, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Senior Citizens Center, 96 Mt. Pleasant Avenue, East Hanover. The emphasis of this screening is to detect early signs of prostatic, testicular, and colorectal cancer.
The American Urological Association states that this screening is most appropriate for men aged 50 and older and for those under 50 who have added risk factors. Those at higher risk are men who are African American and who have a family history of prostate cancer.
There is no cost for this program.
