MCPO Sergeant Graduates NJSACOP Command and Leadership Academy
Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll, First Assistant Prosecutor Maggie Calderwood, and Chief of Detectives Robert McNally congratulate Sergeant Spence E. Osaigbovo of the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office on successfully completing and graduating from the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police (NJSACOP) Command and Leadership Academy. The graduation ceremony was held on January 14, 2025.
The New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police Command and Leadership Program curriculum is a challenging 13-week course developed by the United States Military Academy at West Point in collaboration with highly experienced law enforcement practitioners and specialists. The graduating class included first responders from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland.
Sergeant Osaigbovo is currently assigned to the Special Crimes Division which is comprised of diversified units including the Professional Standards Unit and Insurance Fraud/Financial Crimes Unit.
MCPO Captain Steven Brylinski and Lt James Bruno are also graduates of the program. Chief of Detectives McNally is also an alumnus of the Command and Leadership course.
Prosecutor Carroll said, “I would like to congratulate Sergeant Osaigbovo on this momentous achievement. This rigorous program will aid his professional development, and I believe he will continue to be a leader and mentor within the MCPO.”
