New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission Launches REAL ID Thursdays

Beginning March 20, 2025, the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission Licensing Centers will add nearly 4,500 new appointments on “REAL ID Thursdays” to meet the demand for these upgraded forms of identification. Appointments will be available for customers with licenses expiring within three months who want to renew and upgrade their license to a REAL ID. New appointment slots will open the morning of March 14, 2025.
