Town of Boonton DPW is Hiring

LABORERS (FULL-TIME)/DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, BOONTON TOWN, Morris County.

The Town of Boonton is accepting applications for the position of full-time Laborers in the Department of Public Works. 

This is an entry level position which will require manual labor, snow removal, shoveling, salting, road paving and repair, leaf collection, lawn and parks maintenance, street sweeping and tree trimming and removal. Working knowledge of the tools and equipment used to perform manual and unskilled labor tasks. 

Ability to keep organized and detailed records and files utilizing required electronic and manual systems is preferred. Applicants must have one (1) year of experience in manual labor work and is required to have a valid New Jersey Driver’s License. Applicants will be required to possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and applicable endorsements for the class and type of vehicle being operated within one year of date of hire.
