Feb 12, 1960 - Foes of Jet Airport Press Plan to Buy Swamp as Refuge

MORRISTOWN, N.J., Feb. 11 — Plans to convert the Great Swamp in Morris County into a wildlife preserve or additional county park land moved swiftly today. The Port of New York Authority has recommended the site for a $220,000,000 jet airport.
