NJ-Israel Commission Release Tourism Video on El AL Airlines
The New Jersey-Israel Commission has released a promotional video that showcases the strong bond between the State of New Jersey and Israel while also introducing passengers to the Garden State. Narrated by New Jersey Secretary of State Tahesha Way, the video highlights the state's tourism attractions as well as the friendship and growing business ties between the two regions. The video is available on EL AL Airlines' Boeing 787 "Dreamliner" fleet, which services 44 weekly flights from the United States.
EL AL Airlines, Israel's national airline, operates multiple nonstop flights six days per week between Newark Liberty International Airport and Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion International Airport. The Newark-Tel Aviv air route has maintained strong demand, reflecting the ever-strengthening economic links between New Jersey and Israel. In 2022, the New Jersey-Israel Commission reported that the state's annual bilateral trade with Israel increased by over 16% to $1.55 billion. Since 2018, Israeli foreign direct investment quadrupled and led to the creation of over 1,100 new jobs in New Jersey.
The New Jersey-Israel Commission, which focuses on tourism in addition to economic growth from Israel, collaborated with the New Jersey Division of Travel and Tourism and partners such as EL AL to produce the promotional video. The video aims to welcome Israeli travelers and showcase the state as a travel destination. The video can be watched through the inflight entertainment system on any of the 15 EL AL 787 "Dreamliner" aircraft in their fleet.
