Randolph Township to Host Online Auction of Surplus Property

Randolph Township, NJ - Morris County residents will have an opportunity to bid on a variety of surplus township property, as Randolph Township is set to host an online auction from March 25 to March 29, 2023. The auction will feature a wide range of items, including vehicles, equipment, and miscellaneous items. Interested bidders can access the auction through the online platform, usgovbid.com.

The five-day auction will commence at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, and run until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29. To participate, bidders must register on usgovbid.com and agree to the terms and conditions specified on the site. All sales will be final, with items sold to the highest bidder in "as is - where is" condition, without any guarantee or warranty.

Prospective buyers will have the chance to inspect the items on Tuesday, March 28, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Inspection locations are as follows:

  • DPW Maintenance Facility, 1345 Sussex Turnpike, Randolph, NJ: Vehicles and equipment, such as a 2000 International dump truck, 2008 GMC street sweeper, 2011 Ford F-350 pickup, and more.
  • Randolph Township Police Department, 502 Millbrook Avenue, Randolph, NJ: Miscellaneous items, including an X-box 360 bundle, Mossy Oak Hunting Blind, Trek 820 mountain bike, and more.
  • Bunky's Towing, 1 Route 46, Dover, NJ: A 2015 BMW 228i.
  • Peace of Mind Automotive, 709 Lake Shore Drive, Parsippany, NJ: A 2004 Chevy Tahoe and a 2015 Kia Forte.

Successful bidders must remove their items within five business days after the auction closes. Randolph Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
