Route 19 northbound and southbound ramps to I-80 westbound to be closed tonight in Paterson, Passaic County - Closure necessary for bridge deck repairs

In Paterson, Passaic County, ramps from Route 19 northbound and southbound to I-80 westbound will be closed tonight from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. on Saturday, April 15. The closures are necessary for bridge deck repairs on the I-80 westbound Bridge over Route 19. Detours will be in place during the closures. The work is part of a $22.6 million state-funded maintenance project in North Jersey.

I-78 eastbound Local closed and detoured tonight for bridge work in Springfield, Union County - All traffic to use Express lanes

Finally, in Springfield, Union County, the I-78 eastbound Local lanes will be closed from 10 p.m. tonight until 6 a.m. on Saturday, April 15. All traffic will be directed to use the I-78 eastbound Express lanes. Detours will be in place for those wishing to take Route 24 westbound or the Springfield Avenue exits. The closure is due to structural steel repairs on the Shunpike Road Bridge over I-78, as part of a $10 million state-funded maintenance project.
