Landing Road North of Route 80 is Closed Overnight Thursday, April 20

Landing Road closed overnight Thursday, April 20 starting at 7 p.m.

Attention all drivers! Please be aware that Landing Road in Landing will be closed tomorrow night, Thursday, April 20 between T. Daniel Heating driveway and just past the Ice Factory driveway, towards Rt 80 ramp. This is for repairs to an erosion problem that was causing the guide rail along that portion of Landing Road to become unstable. The project will be completed by final paving and striping. 

On Wednesday, April 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the contractor will be working in the shoulder area on Landing Road and will alternate traffic as needed. No daytime work is planned for Thursday, April 20.

However, beginning at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 20 the roadway will be closed north of Route 80 and the entire roadway width will be milled. The plan is to complete this work by 5 a.m. on Friday morning and to reopen the road with alternating lanes for paving. 

Paving will start at 7 a.m. on Friday, April 21 and will continue throughout the day with alternating traffic. Please plan your routes accordingly and drive safely!
