The Parsippany Office of Emergency Management (OEM) reports that there are currently no active flooding situations in the area following the recent rainfall. Vail Road into Montville has been reopened, and all barricades have been cleared. Traffic patterns around New Road, across from Partridge Run, have returned to normal as standing water has subsided.

Current river levels and warnings in Parsippany are as follows:

  • Boonton Reservoir: Level at 306.60', above the 305.25' spillway threshold, but no forecast available.
  • Rockaway River (below Boonton Dam): Level at 4.59', below the 5.00' flood stage, with no forecast provided.
  • Passaic River (at Pine Brook): Level at 20.06', above the 19.00' flood stage, but has crested early and is expected to recede over the next 48 hours.

No road closures or areas being monitored for flooding are currently reported. This will be the final update regarding the weekend rain event.
