Morris County Prosecutor's Office Welcomes Five New Assistant Prosecutors with Diverse Expertise

Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll, First Assistant Prosecutor Maggie Calderwood, and Chief of Detectives Robert McNally have announced the addition of five new Assistant Prosecutors to the Morris County Prosecutor's Office. Jeffrey Conrad, Tracey Gleason, Donald E. Gual, Daniel H. Malik, and N. Christine Lopez were sworn in on May 1 and May 3, 2023.

Jeffrey Conrad, assigned to the Domestic Violence Unit within the Family Division, brings prior experience as a Deputy Attorney General and Assistant Prosecutor, with a focus on public integrity and special victims cases. Tracey Gleason joins the Major Crimes and Arson/Environmental Crimes Units within the Tactical Division, leveraging her extensive background in prosecuting violent crime, domestic violence, and medical child abuse cases across multiple jurisdictions.

Donald E. Gual will work within the General Investigations Unit of the Courts & Administration Division, having served as an Associate Attorney in Pennsylvania, a Certified Legal Intern, and a Judicial Law Clerk. Daniel H. Malik, assigned to the Pretrial Services/Diversion/Firearms Regulations Units within the Courts & Administration Division, has prior experience as a Legal Extern, Legal Intern, Judicial Law Clerk, and Assistant Prosecutor in various counties.

Finally, N. Christine Lopez will join the Financial Crimes Unit within the Specialized Crimes Division, drawing on her previous roles as an Assistant Prosecutor in Union County, Law Clerk, Student Attorney, and Legal Intern. 

Prosecutor Carroll expressed confidence in the new hires, stating, "We are fortunate at the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office to be bringing aboard so many new Assistant Prosecutors with impressive resumes. I trust they will be assets to our legal team.”
