Multiple Construction Projects Impacting Traffic in Mount Olive, Roxbury, Jefferson, Denville, East Hanover, Chatham, and Summit Today

10 May 2023 - Mount Olive, NJ - Construction projects are causing traffic disruptions throughout several townships in the region today.

In Mount Olive Township, a water main break on Flanders Netcong Road has led to construction on US 206 northbound, south of CR 613/Flanders Netcong Rd. All lanes will remain open until 1:00 PM, while the left turn lane will be closed.

In Roxbury Township, I-80 eastbound is experiencing construction between West of Exit 28 - CR 631/US 46 and East of Exit 30 - Howard Blvd. The left lane is closed until 2:00 PM.

Jefferson Township has construction on NJ 15 southbound near CR 699/Berkshire Valley Rd, with one left lane closed until 3:00 PM. Additionally, NJ 15 northbound, north of Taylor Rd, has one right lane and shoulder closed until 2:00 PM.

Denville Township is facing construction on NJ 53 northbound at the entrance ramp to US 46, with all lanes closed and detoured until 2:00 PM.

East Hanover Township has construction on NJ 10 eastbound at New Murray Rd, with one right lane closed until 3:00 PM.

Chatham and Summit are affected by construction on NJ 24 in both directions, from West of Exit 7 - NJ 124/JFK Parkway in Chatham to West of Exit 9A - Broad St/Millburn/Summit in Summit. All lanes will remain open until 3:00 PM.

In addition to the water main break in Mount Olive Township, US 206 northbound at CR 613/Flanders Netcong Rd has one right lane closed until 3:00 PM.

Roxbury Township and Randolph Township are experiencing construction on NJ 10 eastbound from Eyland Av/Mekeel Dr in Roxbury Twp to the vicinity of CR 617 in Randolph Twp, with one right lane closed until 3:00 PM.

Lastly, I-80 eastbound in Mount Olive Township, in the vicinity of Exit 25 - US 206, has the right shoulder closed until 2:00 PM, while US 46 westbound from East of NJ 183/Netcong Circle in Roxbury Twp to West of I-80 in Mount Olive Twp has the right shoulder closed until 3:00 PM.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution and be prepared for delays as they navigate the affected areas today.
