Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills public auction for several parcels of land

The Tax Collector's Office of the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills has announced a public auction for several parcels of land due to nonpayment of 2022 and prior taxes.

The auction will take place at 8:00 a.m. on June 08, 2023, at the Town Hall of Parsippany-Troy Hills. The sale will go to the person or persons willing to purchase the parcel subject to redemption at the lowest interest rate, not exceeding eighteen (18) percent per annum.

The lands subject to sale include a variety of properties, the details of which will be made available at the time of the auction. The list also includes the names of the current owners as they appear in the Tax Duplicate. However, these names do not necessarily mean that the listed parties are the present owners of the property.

Please note that industrial properties may be subject to specific New Jersey state laws, including the Spill Compensation and Control Act, the Water Pollution Control Act, and the Industrial Site Recovery Act. The municipality is also prohibited from issuing a tax sale certificate to any prospective purchaser with any connection to the prior owner or operator of the site.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR TAXPAYERS
Payments for the auctioned parcels must be made by cash, certified check, or money order. The payment should cover the amount due as advertised, along with any accrued interest and costs up to the time of payment.

For additional information, please get in touch with the Tax Collector's office at 973-263-4252 from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday to Friday.

This public notice is given under the authority of Terence M. Whalen, Tax Collector of the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills, County of Morris, State of New Jersey.
