Deloitte's Impact Day: Aiding Good Grief's Mission to Support Grieving Children and Families on June 9th

MORRISTOWN, NJ - On Friday, June 9th, a wave of altruism will sweep across Morristown as Deloitte employees engage in their annual volunteer service day, known as Impact Day. Drawing together thousands of Deloitte employees across the nation, Impact Day sees these professionals offer their skills and time to address the challenges faced by community non-profit organizations.

This year, one of the Morristown Deloitte teams will devote their efforts to Good Grief, an organization providing crucial peer support to children, teens, and families dealing with the loss of a parent, primary caregiver, or sibling. Good Grief's research-based programs allow these individuals to share their stories, connect with others experiencing similar loss, and develop healthy coping mechanisms in small, facilitator-led groups.

Paul Krieger, the New Jersey Managing Partner at Deloitte LLP, and Pam Sullivan, Head of Good Grief Family Centers, will be available to speak about the volunteer work and the organization respectively. The event will take place between 11:15 am and 12:15 pm, demonstrating Deloitte's commitment to the community and shedding light on the indispensable services offered by Good Grief.
