Morris County Traffic Report, Week of June 26, 2023

Good morning, Morris County commuters. Here's the local traffic update for this morning as we navigate through the current construction and delays on our roads.

On US 206 southbound, just north of I-80 in Mount Olive Township, there is construction causing some disruption. The left lane is closed until 3:00 PM. As a result, we advise travelers to approach with caution and anticipate delays.

For those traveling on I-80 eastbound, there is construction between Exit 27 - NJ 183/US 206 in Roxbury Township. At least one lane is closed here and this is expected to persist until 3:00 PM. Motorists are encouraged to allow extra time for their journey.

On NJ 15, construction is affecting both directions in the vicinity of NJ 181/Espanong Rd/Weldon Rd in Jefferson Township. A right lane will be closed until 3:00 PM. Moreover, on the same highway's northbound direction near CR 699/Berkshire Valley Rd, a right lane closure will last until 2:00 PM.

Commuters on I-287 southbound should also note construction around Exit 52 - NJ 23 in Pequannock Township, with the right lane closed until 3:00 PM.

NJ 10 westbound is also undergoing construction, especially in the vicinity of I-287 in Hanover Township and School Street. The right shoulder is closed in both these areas, the former until 3:00 PM and the latter until 4:00 PM.

Finally, US 46 is facing construction in both directions from West of CR 642/Kenvil Av in Roxbury Township to West of CR 669/Canfield Av in Mine Hill Township, with the right shoulder closed until 3:00 PM. Furthermore, on US 46 westbound, East of NJ 183/Netcong Circle in Roxbury Township, the right shoulder is closed until 3:30 PM.
