Morris County Traffic Advisory: Construction on 6 Major Morris County Roadways

Motorists should anticipate lane closures on several major roads in Morris County, New Jersey due to construction work today. The closures will impact traffic across various parts of the state.

NJ 15: Construction work in both directions near CR 699/Berkshire Valley Rd in Rockaway Township is causing the closure of the right lane northbound until 2:00 PM and southbound until 3:00 PM.

I-80: In Parsippany-Troy Hills Township, the eastbound deceleration lane near exit 47A - I-280 is closed until 2:00 PM due to construction. Further, westbound traffic between east of Exit 47A - I-280 in Montville Township and west of Exit 47A - I-280 in Parsippany-Troy Hills Township will find the left lane closed until 2:00 PM.

I-287: There is construction in the northbound direction near Exit 44 - US 202 in Parsippany-Troy Hills Township, causing the left lane to be closed until 2:00 PM. Also, in the vicinity of Exit 35 - NJ 124 in Morristown, the southbound right shoulder is closed until 3:00 PM.

NJ 15: In Jefferson Township, the northbound right lane south of CR 615/Edison Rd is closed until 2:00 PM for construction.

NJ 124: In Madison, there's construction in the westbound direction near CR 647, causing the left lane to be closed until 3:30 PM.

I-80: The left lane of the westbound express lanes near Exit 43 - I-287 in Parsippany-Troy Hills Township is closed until 2:00 PM due to construction.

NJ 53: In Morris Plains, all northbound lanes south of Park Rd will shift due to construction until 3:00 PM.

US 46: Construction work from west of CR 642/Kenvil Av in Roxbury Township to west of CR 669/Canfield Av in Mine Hill Township is causing the right shoulder to be closed in both directions until 3:00 PM. Additionally, eastbound traffic east of CR 649/Netcong Rd in Mount Olive Township will find the right shoulder closed until 3:30 PM.

    Drivers are encouraged to exercise caution when driving in these areas and to consider alternate routes where possible. Delays should be expected.
