What are Knox boxes?

Knox boxes have provided first responders with immediate access into residences and commercial properties when it matters most. Removing barriers to entry reduces injuries to responders and minimizes property damage.

How do they work?

With one key, the Knox Rapid Access System removes barriers to entry when first responders respond to an emergency call. Responders can then gain rapid access into gates, buildings, residential, and commercial properties without having to damage the property to gain entry.

Who is required to have one?

All commercial buildings and all multi-family residences with three units or more.
