Construction Alert: Intersection and Water Main Improvements in Randolph Township

Intersection Improvements at Center Grove & Quaker Church Roads

Morris County’s contractor will begin construction activities to improve the intersection at Center Grove Road and Quaker Church Road in Randolph Township starting Tuesday, May 28th, and continuing until July 31, 2024. The construction will primarily occur along curb lines and the edges of the roadways, maintaining existing traffic lanes in each direction with reduced lane widths. The work, conducted during daytime hours, may impact traffic flow in the area. Traffic control devices will be in place to guide vehicles. Access to residential and business driveways within the work zone may be temporarily affected. Motorists should expect delays and consider alternate routes. Water Main Extension on Route 10 by Toll Brothers

Toll Brothers’ contractor will be extending the water main along Route 10, from the existing Township water main in front of the Randolph Business Campus at 961 Route 10 to the Toll site at 931 Route 10. Construction will occur in the westbound lane of Route 10 during evening hours from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM, from May 29th to June 14, 2024, as per NJDOT requirements to minimize traffic congestion. One lane and the shoulder of Route 10 in the westbound direction will be closed during this period. Traffic control devices will be in place to direct traffic. Residents near the construction site have been notified via mail.
