Notice of Proposed New Project to Construct a Pump House & Access Drive for a Replacement Well

TAKE NOTICE that the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills is proposing a new project within a parkland diversion of a 0.164-acre portion of Block 736, Lot 9.01 on the official tax map of the Township, 560 Smith Road, by the Township’s water department to construct a pump house and access drive for a replacement well in support of the Township’s drinking water system. In accordance with N.J.A.C. 7:22-10, the Township has submitted an Environmental Decision Document to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) for review of the proposed action and its potential environmental impacts. The NJDEP has reviewed and approved the proposed action.

The Township will make the Environmental Decision Document and the NJDEP’s Decision Statement available for review by the public, upon written request. All written comments should be submitted to the Township of Parsippany Troy Hills Water Department (Attn: Sean Andres, 1001 Parsippany Boulevard, Parsippany, NJ 07054, sandres@parsippany.net).
