Alumnae/I Association of St. Elizabeth College & University Lenten Retreat
Reflecting and engaging in creating art, we can experience a sense of comfort and peace, as well as feelings of unease and being challenged. Art invites us to encounter a spiritual gift that might bring us into a deeper relationship with God. There are many ways that art and prayer are interconnected. Both are a type of language – one is a visual language and the other is verbal. Both languages speak and can give glory and praise to Him. Create a piece of art to help you reflect on the Passion and Death of Christ. No experience or artistic skills required. Let the spirit move you in the beauty of holiness.
Join us for a day of reflection with art. Association, Family, and Friends are invited to join this interactive event. $40.00 per person includes art supplies and continental breakfast.
