Morris Plains: Idlewild Pool Update

To all the residents of Morris Plains:

"I would like to take the opportunity to inform you that after a lengthy process, the Borough has acquired Idlewild Pool and the adjacent parking lot from Idlewild Pool Association. It was the intention to open the pool for this summer, but with it being so late in the season that will not happen this year. The Borough will clean and maintain the property and the hope is to open the pool for the 2024 summer season together with the Recreation Commission. I will keep you up to date with detailed information in the months to follow. We appreciate your patience.

Many memories were made by families throughout the years and we would like to thank Idlewild Pool Association for giving Borough families summer activities and fun for numerous years. Hope to see you next year."
