Morristown, NJ – Drivers in Morris County should brace themselves for a series of construction projects affecting key roadways today, leading to lane shifts, closures, and expected delays until as late as 3:30 PM.
What's Happening and Where?
- US 46 in Mount Olive Twp: As of 12:14 PM, construction has led to lane shifts in both directions at CR 667/Mt. Olive Rd. The construction will continue until 3:30 PM.
- NJ 15 in Rockaway Twp: Construction has been underway since 10:00 AM in the vicinity of CR 699/Berkshire Valley Rd. Although all lanes remain open, delays are possible until 3:00 PM.
- US 46 in Parsippany-Troy Hills Twp: As of 9:00 AM, one right lane is closed from east of I-287 to west of CR 637/Beverwyck Rd. Construction will persist until 3:00 PM.
- NJ 10 from Roxbury Twp to West Orange Twp: A left lane will be closed between Ledgewood Traffic Circle and Prospect Ave until 3:00 PM.
- I-287 in Kinnelon: The right shoulder near Exit 52 - NJ 23 is closed for construction activities until 3:00 PM.
- NJ 23 in Pequannock Twp to Kinnelon: The right shoulder is closed from north of Alexander Ave to north of Maple Lake Rd. The project is expected to last until 3:00 PM.
- I-287 in Riverdale: As of 9:00 AM, the right shoulder near Exit 52 - NJ 23 is closed. Construction will continue until 3:00 PM.
- NJ 15 in Jefferson Twp: Southbound lanes will be closed intermittently from north of Taylor Rd to north of CR 699/Berkshire Valley Rd until 3:00 PM.
