Morris County Community Lead Testing
The Morris County Division of Public Health in partnership with the Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority (MCMUA) is offering community lead testing on consumer items at no cost on Saturday, October 28, at the Morris County Library, 30 E. Hanover Avenue, Whippany, NJ from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Examples of consumer items include toys, spices, jewelry, mugs/dishes, clothing, mobile devices, makeup, etc. These items will be tested onsite with an XRF Lead Detector that will provide results within just a few minutes. Additionally, attendees will have the option of discarding any lead-contaminated items onsite.
