Morristown, NJ – Residents of Morris County will experience multiple lane closures across key highways due to ongoing construction projects, affecting daily commutes and local travel today and into the week.
The What and Where:
- NJ 15: Construction in Jefferson Twp on the southbound side near Taylor Rd, with one left lane closed until 1:00 PM. Additionally, northbound lanes near CR 699/Berkshire Valley Rd in Rockaway Twp and near NJ 181/Espanong Rd/Weldon Rd in Jefferson Twp are also affected, with one right lane closed until 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM respectively.
- NJ 23: Lane closures in both directions from North of Alexander Av in Pequannock Twp to CR 618/Kinnelon Rd/Keil Rd in Butler until 3:00 PM. Additionally, a right lane is closed southbound north of CR 618/Kinnelon Rd/Keil Rd in Butler until 3:30 PM and northbound north of I-287 in Riverdale until 2:30 PM.
- NJ 10: One left lane is closed westbound from the vicinity of I-287 in Hanover Twp to the vicinity of Yacenda Dr in Parsippany-Troy Hills Twp until 3:00 PM. Moreover, all lanes on the eastbound ramp to Dryden Way in Parsippany-Troy Hills Twp are closed and detoured until 11:59 PM on October 6, 2023.
- Others: Additional roads affected include NJ 124, US 46, and I-80.
Construction began this morning at various times ranging from 7:00 AM to 9:17 AM, and is scheduled to last into the afternoon or, in some cases, beyond today.
