This Saturday, 02/10/2024, Morristown will again host the Cupid's Chase 5K, partnering with Community Options--a non-profit organization which provides housing and job support to persons with disabilities. The 5K will feature an established running course that will use Speedwell Ave., Early St., Mills St., Sussex Ave., and several streets in the Cutler Park neighborhood. The race route will be closed to vehicle traffic during the race event. The race route will close to traffic at approximately 9:45 am on Saturday, and remain closed until approximately 11:00 am, with the closures rolling back as the race clears sections of the route. If you are driving through the area on Saturday, please allow extra travel time and follow posted detours. Those traveling to Morristown from points West, may use either Washington St., or Lake Rd. to Burnham Rd., to Mill Rd. to access Rt. 202 (Speedwell Ave.) Rt. 202 (Speedwell Ave.) will remain open during the event.
