Reminder: Eastbound Morris St. Closures Begin March 11

Advisory 3/11: Eastbound Morris St. will be closed to one lane starting at Ridgedale Ave. Westbound Morris St will be closed at Ford/Taft.

NEW TRAFFIC PATTERN – Eastbound traffic will remain open to traffic but will be restricted to one lane for the duration of the work. Westbound traffic from Ford/Taft will be closed.
Special Conditions
- Long-term work zone setup on Morris St, starting East of Ridgedale Ave
- Eastbound traffic will be reduced to 1 lane for duration
- No Westbound traffic between Ford and Ridgedale
- Parking restrictions on East side of Ford and other areas as needed

Morris St will be closed down to one lane eastbound starting at Ridgedale Ave on 3/11 and will remain for approximately 140 days. Westbound Morris St will be closed to all traffic starting at the intersection of Ford Ave and Taft Lane. Please plan alternate routes as heavy congestion is expected.

Phase 1 Detour (for the first two months)

Traffic on Ford Avenue and Taft Lane intending to travel westbound on Morris Street will be detoured to head eastbound on Morris Street. Vehicles will turn left onto Lafayette Avenue, followed by a left turn onto Ridgedale Avenue, leading back to Morris Street.

Phase 2 Detour

Taft Lane will maintain the detour as defined in Phase 1. Traffic on Hill Street and Leona Drive will be redirected to make a right turn onto Ford Avenue. Vehicles will then turn right onto Franklin Street, followed by a right turn onto Elm Street, ultimately leading to Morris Street.
