Morris County Releases New Population Trends 1980 Through 2023

Our partners at the Morris County Office of Planning and Preservation have just released new population trends for each County in New Jersey! Utilizing US Census Bureau estimates, the team has determined the following data takeaways….

• Compared to 1980, Morris County as a whole has seen a 26% growth in population size as of 2023
• Within the 10 year scale from 1980 to 2023 (see the table below) Morris County never experienced population declines over the previous period. Although it is not causation, this takeaway may lead us to believe that Morris County provides a quality of life, business environment, and community that is appealing to the US population.
• In 2023, 5.54% of total New Jersey Residents have made Morris County their home and place of residence.
