Road construction, Rt 10 Wb from Franklin Rd in Denville to South St in Roxbury
New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG) will be replacing the existing gas main that runs along the Route 10 Westbound shoulder from Franklin Road in Denville to South Street in Roxbury. This will be a year-long construction project to replace 6.5 miles of gas main that is slated to start on or about April 5, 2024 and is estimated to be completed in June of 2025. There will be no service interruptions associated with this installation to either residential or commercial customers.
This construction work will be primarily done at night from 8pm to 5am to avoid congestion along Route 10. Construction will require a single lane, flagger controlled closures of Route 10 westbound. Construction along Route 10 may impact intersecting streets to Route 10 and may require road closures with detours as necessary. Expect Delays or Plan Alternate Routes.
