Celebrate NJ Local Government Week April 6-12, 2025!
NJ Local Government Week is a time for municipalities to encourage civic education, community collaboration, volunteerism, and local pride.
NJ Local Government Week, sponsored by the NJ League of Municipalities, is a week-long celebration that raises awareness about the importance of municipal government and its daily impact on residents.
Local government is the closest form of governance to residents, influencing many aspects of daily life. Understanding how it operates, the services it provides, and the value of community involvement helps foster a better connection between residents and their local government.
“NJ Local Government Week is an opportunity to help our residents become more informed about the many services we provide, which will lead to more knowledgeable citizen participation in the future,” said Mayor Hathaway. “We are excited about this year’s activities and hope to engage all residents and senior citizens in our upcoming events.”
During the week, residents will hear from their local government department heads on social media, send in their best Randolph photos, join us for coffee at Town Hall, and more!
Residents are encouraged to join us at Town Hall on Wednesday April 9 at 9:30am to have “Coffee with Randolph” where they will be joined by Randolph local officials and local department heads. Location information will be updated on our social media accounts @randolphtwpnj and official township website.
