2025 Primary Election: Key Dates and Voting Resources

From the Township of Randolph, for all Morris County Residents - 

The [2025] General Election will take place on Tuesday, June 10. In preparation of election day, voters can find a list of important dates and resources below:

Important Election Dates:

June 3 – Last Day to apply for a Mail-In Ballot by Mail
(Applications must be received by the County Clerk’s Office no later than 7 days prior to the election. Postmarked applications cannot be accepted.)

June 3 through June 8 – Early Voting Period
(At designated polling locations in Morris County. View a list of designated polling locations in Morris County at www.morriscountynj.gov.)

June 9 – Last Day for In-Person Mail-in-Ballot Applications
(By 3:00 pm at Morris County Board of Elections – Morristown)

Mail-in-Ballots

  1. May be sent via USPS (must be postmarked no later than Tuesday, June 10)
  2. May be dropped into a Ballot Box – there is one located in front of the Municipal Building and at 30 other locations throughout Morris County Ballot Drop Box Locations – Morris County, NJ (must be dropped off before 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10)

June 10 – Election Day
(Polls open from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm)

No Electioneering at Polling Locations – Per State Statute – no person shall wear, display, sell, give, or provide any political or campaign slogan, badge, button, or other insignia associated with any political party or candidate within 100 feet of any polling locations.

Poll Sites for In-Person Voting

Randolph voters can visit https://www.randolphnj.org to learn about their designated polling location. Additionally, voters can also visit the New Jersey Division of Elections website to identify their polling location.

Submit Your Mail-In Ballot in one of three ways:

  1. In-Person to the Board of Elections at Administration and Records Building, 10 Court Street, Morristown, NJ 07960.
  2. Mailing to the Board of Elections using the United States Postal Service. No postage is necessary if mailing within the United States. Mail-In Ballots returned via USPS must be postmarked by Election Day and received no later than the following Monday.
  3. In one of 30 Vote-by-Mail Drop Boxes Drop-Box locations across Morris County. The Vote-By-Mail ballots (VBMs) will be picked up on a daily basis and brought to the BOE. All Security measures will be followed when collecting and transporting the VBMs. Drop Boxes will be closed at 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.
