Traffic Delays and Lane Closures Impact Morris County Highways Amid Ongoing Roadwork
Morning commuters face disruptions on NJ 15, US 46, NJ 23, and I-287 as scheduled construction projects continue across multiple municipalities through the afternoon.
As of Thursday morning, September 11, drivers across Morris County are experiencing traffic delays and lane closures due to ongoing roadway construction on several major routes. The New Jersey Department of Transportation has advised that motorists should anticipate extended travel times and plan alternate routes where possible.

At 7:30 a.m., delays were reported on NJ Route 15 southbound from north of NJ 181 (Espanong Road/Weldon Road) to County Route 699 (Berkshire Valley Road) in Jefferson Township. Although all lanes remain open, congestion is slowing traffic flow in the area.
