Winter Weather Advisory for Friday

From Morris Township Police Department-

“A winter weather advisory is in effect on Friday from 6am to 4pm due to expected icy conditions from freezing rain. Total ice accumulations up to around a tenth of an inch are expected. Be prepared for slippery conditions on area roads and walkways. Postpone travel if possible.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS: The freezing rain is forecast to transition to sleet and snow before ending late on Friday afternoon. Little snow accumulation is expected. Use extra caution if traveling. The latest road conditions for your state can be obtained by dialing 5-1-1.”
