Protecting Seniors’ Assets, Providing Health Care and Minimizing Costs

Robert A. Bernstein, Esq. has over 35 years of experience in Elder Law, Estate Administration, Trusts and Estate Planning, and Special Needs Planning.

He will be giving a presentation on how to avoid problem issues in Elder Law and Estate Planning. He will discuss the problems with outdated Wills and Powers of Attorney, problems with joint accounts, and issues that arise from the absence of properly executed Health Care Proxies and Advance Medical Directives. A discussion about what steps are necessary to protect a healthy spouse when the other spouse becomes ill in order to prevent the healthy spouse from becoming impoverished.

We will also have a presentation by Billy McCarthy, LSW, a home care liaison with The Key. Mr. McCarthy will discuss how to care for an ill member of your family while keeping them at home.

And last but not least we will have Jerome Kovach, Senior VP, at Financial Guide, will discuss how to minimize healthcare costs.

This presentation is important to anyone who has a concern about themselves or their family members with respect to protecting a Senior’s assets from depletion due to health care issues.
