WHAT: To kick off the spring season, Room to Grow is hosting a Fill-A-Truck donation event in Morristown, NJ, asking residents to upcycle their baby and toddler items to fill resource gaps for under-served communities in the New York region. On Saturday, March 25, the nonprofit organization will be collecting critically needed new or gently used baby and toddler items, such as clothing, toys, books, and more. Please see the full donation checklist to see what is of greatest need. Please note, we ask donors to review their items in advance to ensure donations meet the quality standards needed.

This Fill-A-Truck event is the perfect time to jump-start your spring cleaning and donate baby and toddler items your child has outgrown. By upcycling your items you not only reduce waste but also helps Room to Grow support more than 800 families in the New York area.

Room to Grow is a nonprofit offering critical support to families raising babies born into low-income circumstances by providing parents with counseling and tips to track child development milestones, as well as essential baby items, and connections to community resources such as housing and medical referrals to help create a safe and stable environment. This holistic three-year program currently serves more than 800 families in the New York area, addressing the multitude of needs new families face by actively filling resource and support gaps in the communities we serve.

Those unable to attend the event can still support Room to Grow by purchasing urgently needed items from the organization’s wishlist.

WHEN: Saturday, March 25, 2023. 10AM - 12PM
