Morris Plains Community Band to hold Free Concert

The Morris Plains Community Band will be presenting a holiday concert on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at the Presbyterian Church, 400 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains. Admission to the concert is free and will feature holiday music as well as secular winter tunes and a community sing-a-long of popular seasonal songs.

Also featured in this concert will be the Morris Plains Community Choir singing several holiday selections and closing with the “Hallelujah Chorus” from Handel’s “Messiah”.

The Morris Plains Community Band is an all-volunteer organization of over 50 musicians ranging in age from 14 to 90. Our music covers a range of difficulty designed to be enjoyable by players of all skill levels. We play approximately twenty concerts per year for various senior residences and concerts in the park.
