Got Lead? We'll tell you!

Get your household items tested.

The Morris County Division of Public Health in partnership with the Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority (MCMUA) is offering community lead testing on consumer items at no cost.

Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 4pm to 6pm at the Morris County Library.

Items will be scanned by using an "XRF Lead Detector" with results ready in just a few minutes. You will have the option to discard any lead containing items onsite.

Getting your items tested for lead and removing contaminated objects in your home is an effective way to prevent lead exposure and poisoning, especially in children.
