Tri-City Treasure Hunt: Massive Community Yard Sale Invades Chatham Township, Chatham Borough, and Madison on April 29th!

A community-wide yard sale event is set to take place on April 29 in Chatham Township, Chatham Borough, and Madison. Participants are encouraged to register by April 26 to have their address and a list of their sale items appear on a digital map, which will be made available to the public on April 28.

For a $10 fee, residents of the Chatham’s and Madison can have their yard sale items listed on the map, which will be linked to this page and shared on local media and town websites. The fee is a tax-deductible donation that will benefit the Great Swamp Watershed Association.

The yard sale event will be held rain or shine, and residents are encouraged to put up signs on their properties to attract customers. The permit fee for the event has been waived for residents of the Chatham’s and Madison, and those interested in participating can register by clicking here (scroll to the bottom of the page).

For those interested in shopping, the digital map of all yard sale participants and a list of sale items will be available for download on April 28. Questions about the event can be directed to the Environmental Commission of the Chatham’s and Madison at Claire.whitcomb@mac.com.
