Morris Township is set to transform into a winter wonderland as the annual Holiday Lights Contest returns, inviting residents to light up their homes in the most creative and festive ways possible. The contest, scheduled for December 13-17, 2023, is an opportunity for community members to display their holiday spirit and compete for exciting prizes.

Eligibility and Rules:

Participants in the contest must adhere to specific guidelines to ensure fair competition. Key rules include:

• Personal Touch: Only self-installed decorations are eligible, emphasizing the personal effort and creativity of participants.
• Visibility: Judges will only consider decorations that are visible from the roadway, ensuring a spectacular view for passers-by.
• Display Times: Contestants must keep their lights on from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM during the contest period for judging purposes.
• Limit on Winners: To keep the competition fresh, winners are limited to claiming the top spot for a maximum of three consecutive years.
