Atlantic Health System, headquartered in Morristown, has been ranked among New Jersey’s top employers in Forbes’ 2025 list of America’s Best Employers by State, reinforcing its reputation as a leading healthcare provider and desirable workplace in the region.
MORRISTOWN, NJ — Atlantic Health System has been recognized as one of New Jersey’s best employers in Forbes’ 2025 America’s Best Employers by State rankings, landing at #19 on the list. The ranking reflects high marks from employees for workplace culture, advancement opportunities, diversity, compensation, and responsiveness to serious workplace issues.
Forbes developed the list in partnership with market research firm Statista, based on survey responses from over 160,000 employees nationwide who work at companies with 500 or more employees. The survey asked participants to rate their own employer and others they are familiar with, using criteria such as wage fairness, work-life balance, professional development, and company response to misconduct.
The 2025 list includes 1,417 companies that made it onto at least one state ranking, with a total of 2,500 state-level placements. New Jersey’s rankings featured a mix of major healthcare systems, higher education institutions, tech companies, financial service firms, and retailers.

Atlantic Health System, founded in 1995, is one of the region’s largest non-profit healthcare networks.
