Morristown, NJ — The Morristown Festival on the Green, Northern New Jersey’s largest fall community celebration, returns on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from noon to 5 p.m., rain or shine. Hosted by the Morristown Partnership, the annual event is expected to draw tens of thousands of visitors to Morristown’s historic downtown for an afternoon of live entertainment, food, shopping, and family-friendly activities.
The festival, now a cornerstone of the local calendar, will feature four stages of live music and performances, an exhibitor showcase of over 160 businesses and community groups, and extensive activities for all ages. Admission is free.
Main Stage (South & DeHart Streets):
Joe Bilotti’s Heart of Gold Band will headline from 1–5 p.m., bringing classic 1970s pop and rock hits to the crowd, courtesy of sponsor 40North Restaurants.
Sound Stage (Morris Street & Dumont Place):
Performances include TropyBand Orquesta (12:30–2 p.m.) and Shorty Long & The Jersey Horns (3–5 p.m.), sponsored by Valley Bank.
Concert on the Green (Morristown Green):
Stone Soup Symphony Orchestra (12–1:30 p.m.)
MPAC Select Program Performance (2–3:30 p.m.)
Edward’s Violin Studio (4–5 p.m.)
Family Jam (Kids Place, Speedwell Avenue):
Interactive performances will include Dinosaurs Arise (12–1:30 p.m.), Polka Dot! (2–3 p.m.), Miss Jolie (3:15–4 p.m.), and Wallaby Tales (4:15–5 p.m.), sponsored by HQ Plaza.
Children’s amusements at Speedwell Avenue will feature an inflatable corn maze, double lane slide, 3-lane obstacle course, axe throwing, pumpkin bouncer, and more. Unlimited play wristbands are available for $10, while individual attraction tickets cost $2 each. A separate rock climbing wall is $5 per climb. Ticket sales end at 4:30 p.m.
Carnival games at North Park Place will run throughout the afternoon, including Crazy Cans, Star Darts, Strike Zone, Hoop Shot, Candy Wheel, and ABC Block.
Festivalgoers can also join free fitness classes on the Morristown Green Lawn:

The Beer Tent at Schuyler Place, sponsored by Morristown Airport, will serve as a hub for football fans, cornhole players, and music lovers. Beverages will be available for purchase with tickets:
Domestic Drafts – 1 ticket
Craft Drafts – 2 tickets
Sun Cruiser or High Noon Seltzer – 2 tickets
Tickets cost $4 each. Entertainment includes a live DJ all day and a set by A to Z from 1–4 p.m.
More than 160 exhibitors will participate, including local restaurants, businesses, and community groups, offering samples, demonstrations, and information.
To accommodate the large crowds, free parking will be available from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at several Morristown Parking Authority facilities, including:
Ann-Bank Garage (via Ann Street at Schuyler Place during the event)
Dalton Garage (Cattano Avenue)
DeHart Street Garage (DeHart Street and Maple Avenue)
Free on-street parking
On-street meters between DeHart Street and Market Street will be reserved for ADA access parking. Road closures and detours will be in place, and attendees are encouraged to review traffic maps in advance.
