Residents of Morris County, NJ, will need to factor in some extra travel time today due to several construction projects underway across the region.

Beginning at 9:30 am, construction on NJ 53 northbound ramp to US 46 in Denville Township has resulted in the closure of one right lane. Motorists are encouraged to exercise caution while navigating these areas.

On NJ 10 eastbound, from Eyland Av/Mekeel Dr in Roxbury Township to the vicinity of CR 617 in Randolph Township, road work has necessitated the closing of the right lane. This closure is expected to last until 3:00 PM.

In Mine Hill Township, construction is underway on US 46 in both directions in the vicinity of CR 669/Canfield Av. As a result, all lanes are currently shifted and this change will remain in effect until 3:00 PM.

Commuters using NJ 23 will also face detours, as the northbound ramp to I-287 in Riverdale has been closed due to construction. This closure is anticipated to last until 1:00 PM.

On NJ 15 northbound, north of I-80 in Wharton, construction work has necessitated the closure of the right lane. The lane is expected to remain closed until 5:00 PM.

In Roxbury Township, the right shoulder on NJ 10 eastbound Main St/Commerce Blvd is closed due to construction. The closure is expected to last until 1:30 PM.

Finally, on US 46 westbound, from east of NJ 183/Netcong Circle in Roxbury Township to west of I-80 in Mount Olive Township, construction work has led to the closure of the right shoulder. The area is expected to be impacted until 3:00 PM.

With multiple construction projects underway, commuters are advised to plan their routes accordingly, allowing for additional travel time. Drivers are also encouraged to use caution when traveling through construction zones, for the safety of both the workers and fellow motorists.
