MORRISTOWN, NJ (October 19, 2023) – PrimoHoagies, famous for mouth-watering hoagies piled high with top-quality meats, cheeses, and a unique blend of spices, announced today the grand opening of its newest location in Morristown, NJ is set for Thursday, October 26, at 10:00 a.m. The store, located at 44 Speedwell Ave, Morristown, NJ 07960, is owned by local residents Patty Babb and Drew Busa. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will begin promptly at 9:45 a.m.
To celebrate Morristown’s new favorite hoagie destination, PrimoHoagies is offering the first 100 customers* in line on October 26, a free Primo Size Hoagie. For the rest of Grand Opening day, customers who enroll in the rewards program will enjoy Primo Size Hoagies for just $6.99.
In addition to the grand opening festivities, PrimoHoagies is introducing an exciting "Golden Ticket" promotion that will run throughout the week following the grand opening. Ten golden tickets will be randomly placed within hoagies, and lucky customers who discover these golden tickets can redeem them at the Morristown, NJ location for a $25 PrimoHoagies gift card.
Local residents Patty Babb and Drew Busa are thrilled to announce the upcoming opening of their second PrimoHoagies location, building on the success of the Byram location which opened earlier this year.
Babb, already co-owner of six Dunkin’ stores in the area with her husband, Russ, got to know Busa during his time working at their different locations. Impressed with Busa’s remarkable drive and accomplishments, they saw him as the perfect fit to co-own their next PrimoHoagies.
The team carefully selected Morristown as the location, recognizing its appeal as a growing hub for new businesses and a magnet for young residents, displaying a unique urban atmosphere in North Jersey.
“We're beyond excited to introduce Morristown to the authentic flavors and quality that PrimoHoagies is known for,” said Babb. “It’s an exciting new chapter for us and the vibrant energy and growth in this city make it the perfect place for our second venture.”
Using recipes passed down through the generations for its iconic hoagies, PrimoHoagies layers Thumann’s gourmet meats and cheeses, a secret blend of spices, and locally sourced, fresh vegetables onto award-winning, seeded rolls that are baked fresh throughout the day. The casual restaurant’s diverse menu features a variety of cold and hot hoagies, cheesesteaks, wraps, vegetarian options, antipasti salads, chips, drinks, fresh-baked cookies, and more!
The 1,800-square-foot store is expected to employ about 15 people, with dine-in seating, plus takeout, and delivery options. PrimoHoagies also offers catering, including its popular hoagie trays – perfect for special events, gameday, and luncheons. This location is open from 10:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. daily.
