Additional Sentence Details
Judge Wigenton ordered three years of supervised release in addition to the 12-year prison term. The case was part of an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) investigation, which targets high-level criminal organizations through a “prosecutor-led, intelligence-driven, multi-agency approach.” It also fell under the Newark Violent Crime Initiative (VCI), a coordinated partnership among local, state, and federal agencies to reduce violent crime in the region.
Green’s conviction highlights ongoing efforts by law enforcement to dismantle street gangs that perpetrate violence and fuel drug trafficking in neighborhoods across New Jersey.
