MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A series of ongoing construction projects are causing intermittent lane and shoulder closures on several major highways across Morris County today, with most work scheduled to last through mid- to late-afternoon.

As of Wednesday morning, September 10, 2025, the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) and associated contractors are carrying out planned maintenance and improvements on segments of Interstate 287, U.S. Routes 46 and 202, and New Jersey Routes 15, 23, and 181. The work is prompting temporary traffic pattern changes, detours, and reduced lane capacity in several townships throughout the region.

• Parsippany-Troy Hills Township:

  • Southbound between Exit 43 (Parsippany Blvd) and Exit 42 (US 46) — left lane closed until 3:00 PM.
