More Dispensaries & Cannabis Consumption Areas Coming to NJ

Five new annual licenses, five conversions, and two public consumption endorsements were granted during the September 10 meeting, marking continued growth in the state’s cannabis industry.

The New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission (NJ-CRC) approved a new round of cannabis business applications during its public meeting on September 10, 2025, advancing both new licenses and license conversions as part of its ongoing effort to expand the state’s regulated cannabis market.

According to meeting documents, the Commission granted five annual licensesfive conditional-to-annual conversions, and 16 license renewals across retail, manufacturing, and delivery categories.

Annual Licenses

Four new cannabis retailers and one manufacturer were approved for annual licensing. The businesses advancing include:

  • Trikhoma – Manufacturer, Standard

  • KDRJJI LLC – Manufacturer, Standard

  • The Vault Dispensary – Retailer, Standard

  • The Green Initiative – Retailer, Standard

  • Blaze Green LLC – Retailer, Standard

A sixth applicant, East Coasting LLC, appeared on the consideration list but did not advance, as one business was crossed out in the final documents.

Conditional-to-Annual Conversions

Five businesses successfully converted conditional licenses into full annual licenses, positioning them to operate permanently within the market. They include:

  • Green Paradise Therapy, LLC – Retailer, Microbusiness

  • Candid Dispensary – Retailer, Microbusiness

  • Green Vine LLC Retailer, Standard

  • Nibblers & Smokers LLC – Delivery, Microbusiness

  • Nurturing Leaves LLC – Retailer, Standard

Two additional businesses were listed for consideration—A Higher Ground Dispensary LLC  and Chelsea Beach Buds by Bridge City Collective LLC—but were crossed out in the official documents, indicating they did not advance.

Consumption Areas

The Commission also expanded public cannabis use options by approving two new cannabis consumption area endorsements. These were granted to Everest Dispensary in Atlantic City and Molly Ann Farms in Haledon, joining earlier approvals this summer for facilities in Atlantic City, Merchantville, and Newark. Consumption areas create safe, regulated environments for adults 21 and older to use cannabis, a measure particularly aimed at renters, tourists, and those without private spaces.

Next Steps

The NJ-CRC’s next public meeting will be held virtually on October 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Full recordings, presentations, and agendas from prior sessions are available on the Commission’s official website.
