Edwin Isaacson IV, 53, admitted to possessing at least 28 videos of child pornography upon arrival at Newark Liberty International Airport; sentencing set for June.

NEWARK, N.J. — A Pennsylvania man pleaded guilty on Wednesday to possessing child pornography following his arrival on an international flight into Newark, according to a statement from Senior Counsel Philip Lamparello of the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Edwin Isaacson IV, 53, of Matamoras, Pennsylvania, entered his plea before Chief U.S. District Judge Renée Marie Bumb, admitting to one count of possession of child pornography.

The investigation was led by special agents of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Newark, under the direction of Special Agent in Charge Michael S. McCarthy.

The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Matthew Specht of the Special Prosecutions Division in Newark.
