Morris Co. to Host 24th Annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on 9/7

The Morris County Board of County Commissioners invites the public to join the Annual Morris County 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on Sun, Sept. 7 at 6 p.m. at the Morris County 9/11 Memorial, 460 West Hanover Ave., Parsippany-Troy Hills.

This year’s keynote speaker is FDNY firefighter Rudy Sanfilippo, a first responder and survivor of the South Tower collapse, who will share his powerful story.

The ceremony will feature a procession of first responders, candle lighting, musical tributes, and the reading of names of the 64 Morris County residents we lost on Sept. 11, 2001.

 -Bring lawn chairs — seating is limited.

 -Parking & shuttle available from 340 West Hanover Ave., Morris Township.
