09/18/25 UPDATE: Route 10 Gas Main Construction

09/18/25: The right lane on Route 10 westbound is scheduled to be closed beginning 09/22/25 through 10/10/25 for the continuation of the New Jersey Natural Gas Company project in Randolph Township, Morris County. Additionally, the middle right lane of Route 10 westbound will be closed from 8pm – 5am from 09/22/25 until 10/10/25 with only one traffic lane open to westbound traffic during these hours of construction. The left lane on Route 10 westbound will be maintained during construction. Route 10 eastbound will not be affected. Motorists are advised to slow down, use caution, and expect delays when driving through the work zone. This portion of the NJNG project involves directional drilling under South Salem Street overpass and the Mill Brook for installation of 16” Steel Gas Main.

Additionally, the NJNG Contractor’s crew will continue open cut excavation and installation of the new 16” Steel Gas Main within right lane of Route 10 westbound between Millbrook Avenue and Center Grove Road during this same time period with similar lane closures as noted above.
